Service Flag

Bring back the tradition of making Service Flags to support the men and women in active military service. The Service Flag or Blue Star Banner was designed in 1917 by a WWI Army Captain with two sons serving in the military. The flag quickly became the symbol of a family with a child serving in the U.S. military, especially during wartime. This pattern includes 5 different sizes ranging from a mini 6" x 11" flag to an Xlarge 48" x 91" flag. Detailed instructions and diagrams including templates for all sizes of stars are included.
